Kenrick started life as an iron-founder in 1791 manufacturing buckles and livery fittings. The company continued as an iron-founder all the way through to the 1950s when new processes were introduced. These included die-casting and steel presswork.

In the early 1980s Kenrick began to offer some of the production facilities to others who were looking for bespoke components to be made to a high standard and then supplied in a ‘ready-to-use’ form.

On site in West Bromwich Kenrick have the following production facilities:

  • Die-casting
  • Steel Pressing
  • Plastic Injection Moulding
  • Plating
  • Powder Coating
  • Machining
  • Polishing

Any or all of these facilities can be sub-contracted out, we often find that the greatest benefit is found by customers who are able to employ more than one facility on a single part. For example we produce a die-casting that is then machined, painted and supplied in a form of packaging that suits the customer.
